So i got notified in my car that the A3 service is coming up and i filled out the online form on my Mercedes Benz dealer’s website.
A guy called me and told me that this service includes the normal changing of liquids but also the air filter, spark plugs and gearbox oil.
That in my opinion seems a bit unnecessary considering the car is just nearly 3 years old and has done 35000km/21500miles but maybe the DCG needs oil replacements this often? I tried searching on the forum for an answer but could not really find anything about this.
Anyways, i got quoted 1300€/1480$ for this service.

What exactly are the km service intervals on these parts?

I checked on the service schedule based on your car being registered on 1/12/2018 which should be about right based on what you say, and all seems right enough according to what you have been told.
I am surprised that the automatic transmission fluid requires changing at only 3 years. The mileage interval is 46500.
Spark plugs seems a bit soon at 3 years too (again 46500 miles).
I would reckon 4 years is more realistic for both of the above items, but Mercedes say 3 so there you go.
