Was going through the paper work last night and notice there was an Advisory on the new MOT (although nothing was said to me) with the following :

Nearside front lower front suspension has slight play in a upper suspension ball joint

and the same for Offside

Being a total car DIY noob although getting better, is this something I can fix myself? Anything to be worried about? etc

....so have I, MB quoted me £295.00 to replace them! Reading the various post it would seem a straightforward job to DIY would that be the case?

2 new genuine MB wishbones fitted for £200 ? Sorry but I find that hard to believe. Aftermarket perhaps but not genuine.

Not all cars need new wishbones, the balljoints on mine can be replaced separately. :)
