The puncture occurred in the correct tyres. Are you suggesting they stuck a nail through the tyre? Sheer bad decision making followed by very bad luck... from the 7 times in a row world champion winners.

Russell had already proven himself having taken Bottas twice.

I was simply putting forward a possible explanation for the unsportsman like behaviour comments made by others to Ron as he requested, doesn't mean I believe them .

They did put wrong tyres on both Bottas and Russells cars, Bottas were very worn....

As for conspiracy theories I prefer the Lewis with a sniper rifle!

Slight correction, although admittedly it amounts to the same thing.
Bottas has a 1 year contract for 2021, but Russell has a 3 year contract of which 2021 is the last year.
Regardless though contracts have and will be broken, so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Russell in a Mercedes a year early.

Bottas would be better suited to Williams I think. If you're going to finish a lap and a half behind Lewis, it's got to be better for him to blame it on being in a Williams rather than trying to justify how he managed it in the same car...

Honestly I do feel sorry for the guy though, he is clearly trying his best and getting slated for it. It has been unfortunate for him to have a team mate who is Lewis Hamilton.

Well with only 1 race left to go this has been the best season I can remember, and I have been watching for a looong time!
It has consistently delivered exciting races with plenty of drama and unpredictability.
All it took to achieve this was a global pandemic.

Nothing to do with the driver, glad they fined the team, would have been harsh on him
