C Class 220 CDI BLUE EFFICIENCY ESTATE 2009 W204
Hi, just recently bought a C Class 220 CDI BLUE EFFICIENCY ESTATE 2009 W204
The Aircon and Heating is lit up and buttons are functioning but no airflow is emitted, I was under the impression from the dealer I bought it from that it probably just needed re-gassing, a local garage performed a full check and service on the Aircon but still no luck. They plugged in the computer to clear any codes that may have been interfering but found that there was an electrical fault.
Diagnostic code '90B349' appeared
Auxiliary heater fault
If anyone has had any experience with this problem any info would be greatly appreciated.
I have attached an image of the code and description (if it's worked)
Thanks
Andy

I would say that the fan has stopped working, could be fuse or regulator pack or the fan motor.

Its a common fault on the 204 for the fan blower, they were on back order a week or two ago, the block heater is also a common fault, thats around £400 just for the unit, most people don't worry about replacing these........

Thanks for the response and for shedding a bit of light on the issue. I'm not sure if the warranty will cover it, fingers crossed.

As above, take it back to the dealer you bought it from; advise them of your findings and ask them politely to sort it. Whether you want to push for the auxiliary heater is up to you, but you need to have a working fan, as that could be a safety issue.

Hello David,
did you solve the problem? I have the same error and I don't know where the sensor is located.
Thank you.
