£140 for a fuel filter sounds a bit steep
Sorry, can’t read any of the detail. However, if they are not Mercedes specialists with access to The Star and Xentry systems, they won’t be able to update your Digital Service Book.
Hello all
This looks a bit better
Any advice if this is ok ?
Thanks

Thanks jbell
I’ve put my details in , it just gives me a price for a service nothing else
Is this because I chose the service option ?
It just tells me what’s involved in a service
Thanks
Hello jbell
Can’t find extras on the web page it just recommends a b service but for £522 they change the oil and oil filter everything else involved in the service is just checks
Thanks

Malcolm make a lot of sense. We have two cars almost 9 & 10 years old, both retired doing 3K in one & 6 K in the other. I think thats a route I will take.I thought it might be low mileage, similar situation to me then. My advice would be to find a good Independent and service AABAAB... on an 18mth cycle otherwise you are wasting money on unnecessary oil and filter(s) changes, unfortunately this is what happens with the new MB annual service regime if you don’t do the miles the 2 year interval was much better but not so lucrative for the franchises. Terribly wasteful and to cap it all that lovely fully synthetic oil only does a fraction of its scheduled service life of 16k miles
