Bonnet replacement help needed W124

I have just replaced my bonnet on my 300CE.
Firstly I need to know at which angel should the hangers be pointing for the spring to connect to. It can only be straight down, towards rear or towards the front.

The hangers have 3 "teeth" on them which gives you a choice for the spring to hook on, is there a rule for this? I assume the teeth point towards the front?

Any helpful hints on adjusting height to match the wings, at the moment it will not fully lock down on the bonnet catch. Any help welcomed as supposed to take my son to the school prom on Thursday!

This is mine . Center hole . Doing the other side as soon as wing comes back from paint shop.

Thank you so much I couldnt have wished for a better photograph. Really thats great. I am assuming your bonnet was in the open position when this was taken?

It passed the MOT on Wednesday with no problems, stop lamp bulb only.

Thanks thats a great set of drawings , printed them off and hopefully can do. Its sitting very high by the windscreen.

Yes bonnet was open at the time i replaced the passengers front wing . And this is the other side from yesterday
