Boot Unlocked itself

Morning, i have a W246 2013 b class petrol from new and last night whilst pulling off from the traffic lights and boot unlocked itself.
Very strange, never happened before, should i be concerned? and what would be the likely cause?
The central locking on all doors seems ok and when i got out of the car, closed it again and all came good.

Very odd.

i have an update on the boot/tailgate unlocking issue. what i decided to do was a Factory Reset from my instrument cluster and since then, so far so good. Any thoughts anyone?

I'd put it down to a "Merc Quirk" and forget about it. Will probably never happen again

Ok, as you know, i was also getting some very weird things happening to my car after the main battery replacement. Upon further diagnostics it turns out that the AUX battery (passenger side footwell) on mine had given up. The Garage also noticed slight corrosion on the battery cable terminals in the footwell so after cleaning up the terminals, replacing the battery and clearing all the codes, everything now seems to work including the stop/start and eco functions. So it's definitely worth checking the terminals for corrosion.
