C180 only start with throtttle open after snow

Was running fine. Not used during snow for 4 weeks. Now only starts with throttle depressed and dies if revs drop. MOT is this week so prob fail emissions. Feels like something needs poking to wake it up. Any thoughts what I should take my stick to?

has the battery been disconnected or gone flat? if this is the pms engine management (no air mass sensor) then the throttle body needs teaching in (resetting) after a power down. i forget how to do it manually, but there may be guide on this forum somewhere?

was one the same last week ....only needed a good run then it was ok ?

Yes battery was flat. Had to take out and recharge. Will try a run tomorrow and hope that gives info to the management. Tricky when the steering goes when the engine dies
