C215 Front seat - sourcing or repair

Doesn't need the door card off, just the vent above it then slide forward the lever/catch that lies along the top.

Seat bolster... I understand the seat base is removable (upholstery and cushion) as a complete part? If so how easy is this to do..? I'm wondering if, instead of swapping leather over from one to another, whether or not I can just unbolt the base from my donor seat and bolt onto my (ripped) replacement seat.
