Hi, my CL500 driver door suddenly lost ALL power, no window, mirrors, seat adjust etc... then few hrs later it went ok, then went again and has stayed dead! I suspected the door cables so slit open the sheathes of the 3 trunkings and found about 90% severed!! So I laboriously soldered a couple of inches of new wire rejoining each colour, then I came to 3 thin plain brown wires with no coloured strip to diferentiate them, so which one to which? So I left them alone, with all other cables reconnected I reconnected the battery hoping I’d fixed it, nope, door totally dead, not even the direction indicator in the mirror working. Checked all 4 fuse boxes, all ok. I’m stumped, could it be the upper panel module of switches in door for seat,heat/cool and mirror adjustment that’s shorted/ burnt out ?Also rear windows are stuck half way open.
ANY advice most gratefully received! Thanks.
