Hi all anew member as I have just purchased a CLA 200 2016 AMG line from an Approved Mercedes Garage. Since getting the car home I can hear a rattle from the passenger side window is open and traveling 30mph or below on certain road surfaces (not rough but say something that has a new surface finish ans not smooth) . Seems like the sound is coming from a location on the passenger under the car side middle to back wheel. I have attached a video which you can hear the sound. Metallic sort if resonating rattle.
I have had the car in but of course Mercedes can not find the cause. I have also checked the exhaust mounts, exhaust baffles, exhaust heat shield There are also some plastic covers on the rear suspension arms which have been tie wrapped as they seemed to be loose.
I am thinking brake calipers but the sound is still present when braking.
Any ideas?
