CLK - Service A

Hopefully a simple question...

My 2005 CLK will require a Service A in 4 weeks time according to the dashboard.
I have it booked for an MOT in 7 weeks time.
What happens if I ignore the service warning and wait for the MOT?

The car will tell you the service is overdue, nothing more

Get it MOT/service at same time, that’s what I do and saves a lot of agro. Last year I only did 3700 miles, better over service than under.
