CLS Shooting Brake standard tools X218

Hi everyone, recently upgraded from 2007 T211 280 cdi Sport to 2015 X218 CLS 350 Shooting Brake and a now a Very Happy Boy.

I have no spare wheel or space for one (AdBlue tank) but I do have an aerosol of tyre repair jollop in the event of a small puncture.

There is nothing else in there at all, so disappointed I didn’t liberate the full kit (towing eye, brace, jack, chock etc) from the old E-class.

No reference in the infotainment handbook (no hard copy) to toolkit or what I should have.

My question is this - what tools should there be back there in the boot - and indeed should I have a hard copy of the instruction manual too!?

Please enlighten me!

I very much doubt there would be very much in there except for an air pump, sealant and towing eye but this is what you would need to change a wheel

My C218 has a molded tray containing an electric air pump, a towing eye and a can of sealant (now out of date). The only other thing in the boot (apart from the AdBlue tank) is the box containing the locking wheel nut. That combined with a decent breakdown/recovery subscription would seem to be enough for me

Thank you both for your comments, I shall invest in the basics such that the AA are in a position to rescue me should the need arise! I suppose a jack at the roadside is of little use without a spare wheel, and this is the shape of the future for weight-saving and packaging.
