Hey there
I'm new to all of this stuff so sorry if something similar has been posted. I recently came into ownership of an E320 convertible and have been told it is quite rare. It has sportline badges but there is nothing to suggest this through the paperwork. I have been told it is quite rare though being a convertible. Have any of the old lovers got any idea to help me out? 1996 registered 3.2 auto.
Thanks
Benny

Look at the data card in the back page of the service book. If it has code 653 that means Sportline with 8 - hole alloys. That's what shows on my late 1995 E320 Coupe. Otherwise just put up your VIN number and it can be checked in EPC for the original build sheet.

Who checks epc? I don't have the service book unfortunately just a lot of indivicual papers - one from a wheel return place that says 8 hole, 7 x 15 et41? I'd rather not supply the vin when so many people can see it...
Thanks

Benny

Hi Benny,

I can check as I have a EPC subscription. Pm me your VIN number and I'll check it. Note Sportline whells are 7X15. Normal suspension wheels are 6.5

Remember on 124s you could have sportline suspension (Inc wheels), or sportline interior, or both (or just some badges!)
