could anyone shed some light on a problem i,am having with a sprinter van 54 plate 311 cdi. starts and ticks over fine then when your driving edc light comes on and cuts out. had it on diagnostic and it came up with fuel pressure valve have replaced valve but has not solved the problem.

came down to a fault in the wiring loom just above starter motor. quite a common fault.but when you go with the diagnostic it can come up with a few fault codes so check this first and this may save you some money and time.
