Exhaust gas temp sensor fault

On my vito I keep getting the check management light, this come on and off over the past few weeks and I’ve changed the sensor and had the exhaust DPF cleaned out also, I’ve taken in to garages and they don’t know what to do either my van gets a good run weekly so can’t say it’s build up but when I’m driving up hills on at 60+ Mph my van will judder every 5-10 seconds (not sure if this is being caused by the fault)

Has it been on any kind of diagnostic machine Chum .?

It it showing any fault codes ?

can’t remember the code off hand but it was like this
Ecu Performance Bank 1 Exhaust gas temp sensor 1

ill try and find actual code now

Have you looked for a ground wire from the Ecu.

Best get it to a Mercedes Indie for a proper diagnostic check Jake. The judder could be anything from unbalanced wheels, bad tyres, bad driveshaft props, DMF on the way out or faulty injectors.

Going to book it in to Mercedes hopefully they can sort it, thanks for the advice I’ve researched all day but not got any closer
