At St.Erth Station tonight unleaded 1.169, diesel 1.159, unheard of 6 months ago. (The differential I mean)

A 5 mile roundtrip to get cheaper fuel is counter intuitive in a 5.5L Sc'ed V8

Monday of this week I saw diesel at 128.9p (Watford Gap Services) and at 111.9p (Callow Fuels, Chaddesley Corbett).

That's a difference of 17p/litre or 15s 6d/gallon in old.

That would bought more than a tankful in my first car:razz:

and very useful it is too, although sometimes the price changes can take a couple of days to be reflected on the info on the site. i have the weekly update email. saves wasting time looking for the cheaper fuel!

Diesel was £1.09 at Sainsburys last night. I think we will see a pump price of £1.00 before long. That's good for me but I guess it will be accompanied by bad news i.e.: further cuts/job losses etc unfortunately.

Wooo.... Off to the dordogne at the end of the week and checked the local Carrefour rate and its euro 1.058 (75ppl)

So fill at home, use the 15ppl off at tesco for the run down.

Long may this continue, might make work a bit easier as work for a courier company.
