3rd one...so this one when finished, should be the creme de la creme of sheds!!! :D

Fourth if we count the 9 car garage I had help with building in New Zealand in 1995. Had a huge pit in that one with a drain and the height and width I wanted. That too was an issue getting the digger operator to dig deep enough....No no that's all you'll need!!! Finally he did whet I asked and it was perfect, only problem was if I had a lorry over the pit I had to stand on rims with tyres on  It was nearly 50ft x 25ft x 11ft, I put up a mezzanine floor to store loads of car parts, OMG I just remembered I put that floor in myself
I think this one will be the last Jim, that's why I told the architect what I wanted, 4 or 5 plans later it was nearly 100% :)
Plus I am at the age where I like to.....No need space and a second 2 poster to be inside :D

Reviewing a 45 page Construction H&S plan and whoever wrote it hasn't followed any of the policies or procedures I've written... So I've to go through point by point and highlight the issues. That is another high point of the day...

That'll be the company itself, change the rules when it suits them.

Let me think, it was a few years ago now......5ft 11" at the deep end, 5ft 1" at the shall end, (I was 6ft back then :)) length must have been approximately 11ft, can't really remember the width Jim, 4ft perhaps. Thinking I might have had a 60's Mini over it, definitely had a Triumph Herald over it, just fitted as long as the rear wheel weren't tucked in at the bottom......blimey what a great memory I have been :D pity I can't remember what I did today

Same here memory wise..I put it down to the fact that like the tape recorder, they worked better the newer they were,,,,Yeah, that was a nice pit to work in, and the "Shallow " end would have suited me just fine.

I was so glad I kept telling the digger operator to keep excavating. My mate had a pit dug for him and after the concrete went in it was only 4ft deep, not for me. He was a little annoyed over this as he wasn't there to over see the construction and therefore a load of money down the drain.
My workbench was 15ft long and had a drill press, panel folders and bench grinder at one end and a vice at the other leaving me loads of work space between.
I also made a swing up bench for doing large panels like doors, bonnets etc, when not in use I dropped it down, it was quite high though and I had to stand on anything I could find to work on anything, small price too pay though :D

Joy o joy, guess what.......Brickies arrived in full force today and now we have all the brick work ready for the steel beams which will be lifted into place on Friday. At long last things are getting under way again  This means after Friday it'll be ready for the builder to put up the rafters and Purlin's ready for the roofer.
