Spluttering could be a million and one things, blocked fuel filter, manifold leak, boost leak, no fuel, so on and so forth
Did you try my advice ?? These engines are prone to leaking fuel back to tank overnight. Cycling the ign primes fuel pressure to the max ,ready for a start .Thanks, its having a diagnostics test tomorrow morning, will see what that shows
Thanks for this information, car has done 157k/miles.Interesting to see what diagnostics show possibilities are a glow plug relay or one or two glow plugs failing. The earlier OM642 was noted for burning through relays <100k miles not so much the later >2009 engines - you don’t mention the mileage the car has done which is always a factor?
