Stunned beyond belief! I always knew that The CLS was a decent motor but I didn’t know that they were blessed by the hand of god and can actually fix themselves???
Yesterday after travelling oooop north and after dropping the brats off (who only wanted to show off in the car) the parktronic red warning lights and 3 second alarm came on. After reading the bible sized handbook to be informed that the parktronic had malfunctioned, I knew that I was very shortly going to have a much lighter wallet after MB had got their hands on it.
So to my surprise when I backed out of the drive today there was, no red lights, no noise and parktronic working fine. I checked this by getting my little money magnets (kids) to stand on each corner and (with drill movements Hitler would have been proud of) move them back and forward to check the system.
All working fine and as an added bonus I found a tangible reason for having (and keeping) the kids.
Is this new news of is there history of this phenomenon??? Or better still, can the motor fix itself.
