The difference bet

The difference to using a torque wrench to LIFT a 1-2 ton vehicle would of course cause so much more stress than to just undue a bolt for example and would probably damage the torque wrench. I use hand crank as I do not have a drill that will work on this and it doesn't take that long to lift a car. Also how often are you actually need to lift your car a year?

The purpose of the torque wrench was just to get a torque figure, not continued use. If you don't know what your dealing with you can't find a solution.

Well the first job done was to replace the bottom crankcase breather pipe and valve on a 2005 Eclass. As you have to get at the bolts under the compressor you really need the car up. Made it so much easier. I will do a gearbox fluid and filter change when I get chance. When I was under it, you seem to have good access to it all.
Are you still happy with the Auto lift 3000? I'm on the verge of buying one so interested in your ownership experience.

Hi yes I am. You do not get a great height, but I did use it to change the bottom breather pipes and valve on my E200, which would have been impossible with out it. Also fluid changes. The only thing with it is raising the car, as most drills are not powerful enough and it needs to be done manually which can take a time, but it is lifting a lot of weight and I am not using it weekly.
