Hi all, hope this is the correct forum for this topic.

I have a W212 Estate and am looking to replace the interior lights for LED's.
I have found some fair priced bulb kits on ebay but they are for the saloon.

Can anyone tell me how many bulbs extra I will need over what the saloon has?
So for the estate my count is:
1 x Glove Box
2 x Vanity Mirror
4 x Foot Well
4 x Door Puddle Lights
2 x Front Main Light
2 x Rear Map Lights
4 x Boot Lights

1 x Dome Light for Rear

My understanding is the map lights in the rear view mirror are a pain so not including these.

I'm thinking that maybe I have one or two extra in the boot but the rest should be the same in the saloon....?

I hope they are genuinely ‘Error free’ - too many sellers list them but they do generate a warning

Maybe check the reviews thoroughly

Hey everyone, I recently bought my 2014 E Class 250D Estate and am absolutely loving it!
I moved over from an Audi Q5 as the boot space was just appalling!
Anyway the first thing I did was look for an LED Kit for the Interior as I hated the dull yellow lights.
Had a nightmare! First set caused errors & second set were poor quality.
I got there in the end but it was a right pain.

So off of the back of this I am going to start to do my own LED packs for Mercedes as I know first had that the ones in my car work fine. So if anyone is looking to convert over to LED's then I'd love to help out!
At the same time it would help me gather information on what bulbs each model of car requires.
If any of you have converted or know the bulb types your car takes that would be really helpful if you could share that info.
I would definitely be looking to offer a discount to forum members (hope I am not overstepping any boundaries here).
I have some before and after pics I can share if you are interested.
I am in the West Sussex area and can assist in fitting if anyone isn't sure about doing it themselves. Or wants to take a look at mine up close.

Cheers everyone.

Hi everyone. Hope your all having a great Friday. :)
Hey Dave, absolutely I've been working on them last couple of days. Rain does not help for taking nighttime photos. haha
Anyway, here's what I have so far.

Looks great. Brighter illumination seem an obvious plus, especially in the boot.

Oh yes definitely. Like I mentioned that pic was taken on my phone on a road with no street lights.
I think it changes the look of the car massively.
Wing mirror puddle lights are a really nice touch too.

These are the exact same bulbs I use on my kits.

Hey everyone. Hope you are all safe and well.
Just looking for a bit of feedback on something I am considering.
Been toying with supplying other colour bulbs and wanted to get your opinions on alternate colours.
Mainly Blue, Red & Green.

What do you think?

Has anyone mentioned exterior bulbs?
These kits are for interior only.
