Mercedes a class 2016 not opening.

I have returned home after working away for two weeks and my car won’t open with my keys. I have inserted the metal key into the door and I can see the lock pop up however my door still won’t open. Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Plenty of lubricant and work the key back and forth until it opens. You'll have a keyhole in the rear door as well you can try

Might seem to be a stupid answer but have you given the door a good tug?

A bit of wd40 and we are in. Luckily was only the battery on both of my keys. Started to get worried when neither of them was working. Thanks for the quick response much appreciated.

Now get some silicon lubricant or graphite spray and lubricate those locks in case it happens again...

My annual services on my motors involves oilin all locks. Had to cut hole in rear panel under first aid box on clk one yr because of this I also never lock ski seat back any more..
