Is there any reason that I shouldn't buy a 2019 A Class in Fire Opal Red. Surely the problem will now be sorted ??

Mmmm, I think that would be my choice then, I still need convincing though My Daughters is black but she's not very good at poo removal and it looks a bit gloomy.

Apart from Black that's the only colour that I am not keen on. I really don't want Black again after three in a row

It's Jupiter Red. Got it from the A Class forum. Nobody seems to communicate very well on there, took over two hours for somebody to respond. No welcome to the site, even now after six hours !!

Yeah to be honest I didn’t expect the paint to be an issue lol, possibly I would have to ask them but I mean it’s only paint at the end of the day so nothing urgent

Mercedes and a lot of non Merc dealers have been aware of the FRO paint problem for some years now! merc were supposed to have stopped selling car of that colour, but they have NOT! I had an SLK of that colour but luckily exchanged it for a blue E class as I needed a larger car! It was only after I got rid of it i discovered the problem. There was a class action against MB that has now been resolved!

Completely forgot about this thread. Just an update, took it to another MB dealership and they have authorised a respray on the affected panels.
