Hi this is my first post.
I’m in need of a good indy garage in or around the Warrington area. I’ve had it in at Mercedes Warrington who have done transmission change within the last service and now say I need to spend 4k on a new DPF. Had it cleaned and regen professionally yesterday but fault is still present. It was ok for a couple of days until I needed to give her a little bit more to overtake and after that the fault reappeared.
Symptoms
Late gear changing (2900 revs)
Lack of power
Engine light on
I’m kinda hoping it’s a speed sensor and nothing more sinister. I find it strange how it was fine until I asked for a little more power. It’s happened before like that too. I could get back in it tomorrow and it be ok.
Advice would be good and recommendations for a good localish indy.
