Mod to Air Intake

2015 Mercedes Sprinter 3500. I have had the original oil filter housing removed and had a PKT Billet Adapter installed so that I can use a high efficiency Donaldson Oil Filter. The new filter has an outside diameter of 93 mm and a length of 174 mm. To install this new Donaldson oil filter, the air intake has to be modified or replaced to allow for the filter length (height). The attached picture below shows the setup with a short WIX filter installed.



Any suggestions as to an off-the-shelf modification available in the U.S.?

Why? The original filter does the job. Frequent oil changes the motor will outlast the rest of the vehicle.
