Hi there guys. Thank you for the add, I’m 42 years old form Essex, always been a vw fan mk5 of course lol.I don’t. Like the Modern day cars that’s around now, I love older models. I’m currently on the hunt for a 2010- 2011 eclass I just love that style and look of the car!!! Seen some nice models on autotader well within my budget of 8k. My only trouble is what is the best engine to go for the e250 or the e350??? I’m not a long distance driver only commute to work that’s about a 30 mile round trip, but on most weekends I do travel out of Essex say around 60 to 80 miles journeys. So my question what would be the better engine for me?? Thanks if anyone can Help

Hi,

You may aswell begin your MB experience with a nice E350.
The progression to an E63 is only a step or two away
Haha my dream car e63 best looking merc ever. Yea I’ve been reading up the 350 is the better engine. Much more reliable. You ain’t got a e63 for sale Im my price range have you lol

I’m extremely happy with my 350, troubles free after 16k miles in less than a year, one trip in Italy. Stage 1 and you’ll smile every day

My car is a CLS 350 cdi, same engine, if you’re not bothered about miles, maybe you can consider one.

Wow really are they a common problem on them or you just have to be unlucky for it to fail and I’m expecting when work needs doing it won’t be on the cheap but hey you should expect that from a nice car like a eclass

A bit hit and miss I think , my 2009 (106k miles ) same engine car hasn’t had them go yet (I know saying that might cause the seals to go  )

On my iPad I look at the car advert and top right is an icon that gives options , one of which is “copy” . This allows you to paste the advert on here
