What do you guys think of this
Looks a fairly honest car- nothing too special in the way of extras but maybe that won't bother you.
Has the OM651 engine which a smallish number (compared to how many produced and sold anyway) of folks had simplex chains let go or stripped sprockets. It's worth checking whether the injectors have been changed also.
Minor points - hate the chrome plate surrounds that's horrid- can't read the tyre legend but I personally take something positive if the previous owner puts a reasonably good tyre on, shows they care(d)...those look a bit like ditchfinders

As I say be diligent and FMBSH is best but if not do look at the service history (hopefully Independent specialist) and MOT advisories online

The right car will come along I spent quite a few months looking for mine

Ok thank buddy do the oil sill still go on the 264bhp engines and when I go to look for one I’ll keep my eyes open.can they go at any certain mileage or they just go if you know what I mean. And that’s not to bad a price I do have money put away for any certain repairs that pop up so not to worried about that to be honest. And thanks for all your help

MB replaced the seals with an updated Vitol (purple) material type circa 2012/13 unfortunately there is no engine number available that I know when the change was made - most don’t leak badly until >100k miles

Ok I get what you mean dealer vs private is not really much difference in them at all I do like the the colour of the first car, not seen one that colour before. But your right very easy to check the history of the car with the mot side of things and that. I’ll contact them today even tho there like 4 hours away from me the trip just might be worth it lol
Only issue Lee is it's in Wales, you're not currently allowed

I just had delivery of my (new to me) 2012 E350 CDI Sport this afternoon - yet to take it out on a run but fell in love with it on the test drive earlier in the week - it is white, with Black leather and suede microfibre type seats and 19" AMG wheels, does look stunning...best of luck with your search, i will let you know how i get on.
