Hi all.
Just bought 4 of the above, £64 each including delivery.
255/60/17.
Told they are a mid range tyre.
They look ok, currently stored in my greenhouse.
Have a tyre place that will fit and balance for £10 a corner, so total price under £300 for all four.
To refit the tyres on the car, Goodyear's I bought 2 years ago for £400, would be £560..
It just shows there are decent deals to be had.

Me -2019 GLC 350 coupe AMG line. Mrs- ford kuga 65 plate awd powershift .
I need all 4 for my c250 staggered. Ive been looking at 2x SUMMER TYRES Rotalla Setula S-Race RU01 255/35 R18 94Y XL with MFS BSW

Can get all 4 for £168 plus fitting . They get some good reviews for a budget tyre. I dont do motorways at all . Just tootle about town and b roads .so ive no need for expensive tyres. Im still undecided ...

I put the Nexan Nfera onn my sl55 in 20's very impressed with them, wouldn't give the P zeros that were on garage space, they were dangerous

The reviews are certainly very good on them. The early Nexens didn't review all that well but they appear to have stepped up their game. :)

All the reviews I read said they were ok.
I just cannot justify spending out for a higher branded tyre, all the car does is tootles about backwards and forwards to work and a bit of towing, so not fast work.
Even on motorways I am quite sedate these days.
The Goodyear's are at 17,500 miles and will be due replacement soon, might get another ,1000 but not much more.
I considered other budgets but did not like what was said on some forums, the NEXENS were either rated as ok or good.

I have P Zero's on mine and apart from them being a little noisier than most when the time comes I would certainly replace them with another set of P Zero's. They behave perfectly for my style of driving and I like the tread wear rate. I have had the fronts on for 11,000 miles now and they are still 5mm and little or no feathering on the edges. Very pleased with them. !! :)

Ditto - Went through 2 sets of rears (original front) on my SLK350 (R172) and also have them on the SL - have had the SL around a track several times and am quite happy with them. 13,000 miles on this set and they are still looking good.

Cannot comment on Nexen - first time I've heard of them and couldn't find very much on the www in my quick search.

Had a few sets over the years from nfera blue to n8000, now both our cars have winter nexens fitted and they’re great value imo.

I’m considering them for the cls (even in staggered 19”) as its my work wheels which plod up and down the motorway - I keep spirited drives to the elise with semi slick Yokohamas on ;)

After using Nexen Winguard Sports (winter tyre) on my W203 for the last 6 years I decided to try the Nfera's earlier this year. Have to say I'm very impressed with them for the money. Reminds me a bit of Kumho's when they came out - first incarnations not very good and then they seemed to get it together before becoming pricey.

Not heard anyone using Rikens since the mid 80s! Back then they were akin to banana skins!

Owned by Michelin !

Isn't 580 a really high wear rate indicating they'll be hard and not grip well ?

Well so what is a good budget tyre ? Get me right i can pay for top brand tyres but i dont see the reason if they turn out like the Avons i have on now that split after 4 years and still look like new .
