Non standard wheels on C220 SE

Hi there, first time poster here.

I have put a deposit down on a 2016 (66 plate) C220 SE from a vauxhall dealer. They have fitted what I think are these wheels. The tyres are 18 inch 255,40 (picture of actual wheel attached)

These seem to be wider than any of the official options for this car. Does anyone know if I will face any problems having them on the car? I test drove it and it felt fine.

Also there reason for changing the wheels were to give the car an upgrade before selling it, it seems like an expensive upgrade (4 brand new wheels and tyres), is there anything that I should be wary of or check before taking delivery of the car and paying the balance?

You may have issues with insurance and speedometer readings.

I believe the correct size is 225/40 not 255/40.

I suspect someone misread the tyre size.
Personally I'd request they fit the correct tyre size.

225/45 R18 front and 245/40 R18 rear depending on wheel width

Welcome - I agree, doesn’t sound at all likely. Don’t forget, car salesmen are like politicians - you can tell when they’re lying because their lips are moving!
