Hi Everyone

I am after some guidance please. I was having DPF issues and recently got the pressure sensor replaced. DPF cleaned with some sonic bla bla which costs me a lot of monies.

Now I have been told because of the clogged DPF the turbo charger is leaking in my car. I can’t afford a new one and managed to find a re fabricated one for nearly £600 and today I have been told that one is also faulty it’s just been put on and car is still on the ramp.

I have attached a link of showing the oil leak as the mechanic says car is leaking oil into air outlet pipe or something.

Can someone please tell me if they are telling me the truth.

Some oil passing into the intake is normal. A lot is a problem. Difficult to assess from pictures. I would suggest taking the car to someone else for a second opinion. Do you have to top up much between services?

It’s a refurbished turbo just installed. Mechanic is saying it shouldn’t have oil in this pipe. Please see the video and do you think it’s a lot??

I will have to get it towed to a new garage and then back to square one. With him I might save some money cuz he will have to do the same job twice.

For some reason the video won’t work for me. Anyone else?

Based on that video, I'd go on the turbo leaking oil into the engine and THAT causing your filled DPF.

Either way, the oil seal on the turbo has failed, so this will need to be sorted.
