Places to go for Remaps!

Hi,

I have a 2012 C250, looking to get a stage 1 remap.

I've noticed a few places be mentioned such as GAD, MLS, Big Fish Tuning... I live up near Newcastle Upon Tyne, (North East Region)

Just wanting to know where people think is the best place to take my car... I was thinking of going to Big Fish, as they work closely to MLS, and is a lot closer for myself. But I'd be willing to make the long drive if people were to suggest one place more than the rest etc.

Do GAD do a dyno run? Just I read somewhere they didnt but it could of been a thread from a while back. Or maybe I've miss read that.

Big Fish Tuning or GAD North for your location, both well respected tuners

Welcome, Dane, as mentioned as you live in the North East region, it's got to be GAD North, they haven't got there own rolling road, but they have the use of one,
before and after dyno readout are a must, IMO.

Don`t know about the RR but the GAD name has been highly regarded on this forum , so much so i was planning on using them for remapping my Porker , even though it will be a 320 mile round trip from Glasgow.

I can assure you that John at Big Fish is indeed a top bloke. He writes a lot of maps for several respected tuners including MSL Performance. He did one for one of my old cars and it totally transformed it from being a total animal with an accelerator like an on/off switch, back into a smooth drivable machine.

As he's not too far from you in Stokesley, he's certainly worth a shout. He also has a dyno which straps from underneath for more accuracy and security.

We are in the North East and indeed we have access to a rolling road.

I have also owned a C250 as well as a C350, E350 and E63AMG lol.

But can also speak from experience.
