Hi

I just test drove a 2006 LWB R Class 320 SE.
Mercedes Direct tell me it does not have self leveling suspension at the rear, but all the reviews I look at online imply that it is standard spec.

They even had their technical people to look at they say it does not have any.

Does anyone know what the situation is re self leveling suspension on the R Class Since 2006 through to now.

thanks
Chris

Your Mercedes

Its on air or its on springs, i have had one of each, if its on air then its fully auto, so it self levels, and the tell tale sign is the raise button on the lower control panel,

Or look to see if it on springs!!

Welcome to the forums

And good taste!! i love the R,class!!

ok thanks, they said it was on springs. So I guess that means no self leveling.
It's really confusing because the current brochure for a new one states rear air is standard spec for all LWBs :(, with an option for full airmatic all round

So do you know when it became standard spec ?
Really disappointed because loved the car - had a great spec.
