Nope all the same, ideally you would not use a phono plug on a video source, but they will work just fine,,,,the thing is the professorial cables are too large for car use and you cannot bend them to get a good neat job. you can spend ££££££££ on special gold plated plugs etc that have a cheap piece of cable in the middle
Do not coil any spare cable if you can avoid it

I see the do remote things now using a video sender, that might be a solution in mine as the wires will be very hard work to get through the car

You have got power going to the camera
The camera surely must have a live feed, they cannot be self powered via a video input
You can test the socket on the lead going in by plugging a standard video camera or signal from any TV video output
