E220 estate 2010
I have 2010 S212 E220 estate and had a tear in drivers seat repaired yesterday at a car upholsters.

fixed the tear nicely but in taking the seat out they have set off an error message (along the lines of drivers air bag faulty/malfunction).

It appears all the cables have been clicked in properly and i expect that it simply needs a reset.

Is there an easy way of doing this or does it need to be taken to a specialist and plugged into a computer and reset?

anyone know of a cheap place near leicester to get this sorted?

thanks in advance

guess it will just need clearing on STAR, plus they can check for any furthre faults as well, repaier may have damaged a cable by accident.

I use MB Centre Nottingham for all my work, good guys and wont mislead you, TBH they probably won't charge you either, i know they haven't charged me in the past if its been a 5 minute job, but then again i probably spend enough in there already lol. anyway HTH
