Any chance of a rough cost of this, or do I have to go through your website?

I have a garage just under 20 Sq Metre, with a painted concrete floor and I'm sick of the paint coming off on a regular basis.

Yes of course you can have a quote. For a garage of 19-23 square metres we would charge £2,095 plus VAT.

I can buy an awful lot of it for £2.5k... Can't get the VAT back as I couldn't justify it as a business expense.

My better half says the answer is Deck Paint like what they use on trawlers in the North Sea. It has fine grit in it to stop you slipping and it lasts for years, at least it has on our garage floor!

If you paint over the bare floor or areas that the paint is lifting with PVA adhesive/Glue...thinned to the recommended levels, as stated on the container, then your paint will stay stuck for life.

Or for £2,000 tile it, or axminsters nice if you fall over , heavy duty carpet tiles are nice a friend has had those with a spare box full for accidents.
Depends on how you use your garage.

I think the answer will lie in more floor paint. No way can I justify over £2k on what's purely a garage floor.

The garage's number one use is home for the Merc, and where it lives, though I do several other little jobs in there as well. The back room is a workshop, computers/electronics at one side so reasonably clean, whereas the other side has a shot blasting cabinet, so not as much so. I try to separate both halves, though the dust doesn't often let me when I'm using the cabinet.

The compressor is also in the back, but when I do any cutting/grinding/spraying this is done in the main garage so carpet tiles, as much as I'd like them, are out of the equation unfortunately...

Ceramic/porcelain or even vinyl floor tiles are hardwearing and very washable.
Sometimes available very very cheap.

Will keep my eye on those, and they're not too far away either. May have to be two trips to pick them up, but possibly worth it...
