I reckon on our total journey it was around €140 each way which included the exorbitant cost of €40 each way through the Frejus tunnel into Italy

As Fréjus is 60+ miles from Italy €40 isn't so bad.

The tag issued by ATMB (Autoroute et Tunnel du Mont Blanc) which works also, unsurprisingly, in the Mont Blanc Tunnel, which SANEF does not, I believe, is much cheaper than the SANEF one, only €1.5 per month when in use + €20 euros returnable deposit, and the toll fees of course.

I haven't used mine yet, just got it today, but interested to read of the windscreen location for the tag.

Anyone using one through a heated screen?
