My trusty c220cdi auto has over 280,0000 on the clock so I shouldn't be too surpised or grumble that the header tank has sprung a leak and needs replacing. Any suggestions as to the hose clip and pliers type I'll need to wrangle it off?

I can't see clearly what sort of clip it is - for the main connecting hose directly underneath the tank - maybe a Henn clamp? Not a jubilee. Assume there is a fairly standard one fitted as new for this this model/engine/year. Understand clampclipss get changed over the years, but likely this is the standard one as fitted when new.
Also I've taken off the 10mm retaining nut from the top, and reading around I think there is only a lug remaining that fits in a rubber grommet holding it at the bottom, and that is just a push fit - is that right? It feels very stiff, but likely because everything is old and hardened. I don't want to break a mounting point molding or something though by forcing it too much.
If I can lift the tank clear I'll have a better view of and access to the hose clamp.

The clamp looked like this. Ordinairy water pump/adjustable pliers did the job. When I pulled up on the header tank (after removing the 10mm retaining nut, the level sensor plug and the little pressure release overflow hose) it came right away, drenched me in coolant, and proceeded to dump half of the remainder on the drive. The bottom of the pipe from the header tank had broken off in the hose. Wasn't so bad to get out the bit left in the hose as there was now had plenty of space.
I'd planned to clamp the hose before removing the header tank so as to avoid draining the system.
