Hi all,

S213 E220d Estate and the car feels a bit strange. Vibration in steering wheel, click in steering when I turn after I brake, creaking suspension (hear in drive through), car doesn’t feel planted. Some slight brake judder.

Mercedes dealer said control arm bushes squeaking but mechanically sound. I don’t get this as ... if there is a squeak.. there is movement?

Car is just 4 years old, 45k miles on it. Mercedes don’t want to contribute and dealer quoted £840 to replace both lower control arms...

Will post video of car squeaking later ...

I'd get it out of the dealer and take it to a decent indie/alignment specialist. You have big wheels on yours IIRC which will pass all those wonderful road imperfections into the suspension and your spine so the wear is a direct result of our pants roads unfortunately :(
