That's fairly radical thinking.
It's something I already do. We are fortunate enough to have a ring road and it's usually quicker to use it rather than try to go through our congested town.
However, our infrastructure is already in place so it's an easy choice for me.

The solution to every “problem” seems to be AI controlled cameras going up on every street corner tracking and restricting you’re every move. Truly dystopian.

That scheme above has to go into the list of most utter stupid things I’ve ever seen one’s brain think of.

The ULEZ in London is a similar situation. Some poor folks can’t use the dump just up their road without paying the charge as the boundary splits the road…It’s scandalous! They have paid their council tax but can’t use it’s facilities… I’m not sure how much facility locations and access in relation to boundary lines are taken into consideration… caused quite a stink, but fell on deaf ears and life goes on…

Just to help the planet I have got some more vegan tomato soup to throw around at art galleries.

I would glue myself to a road but I have now found out that the glue is made from complex polymer thingies that usually come from oil.

After my vegan lunch of course,

I have some petitions to sign on line first.

My benefits were late so I am still a little hungover from last night celebrating them dropping into my account.

We are getting together with other like minded people and co-ordinating our protests against the guvvernment.

If we just get rid of this guvvernment and put up taxes for the rich we can secure our futures with a benefit uplift that we deserve as planet protectors.

My greedy capitalist landlord is still complaining about last years rent, can't wait for the ban on evictions.

I am busy tomorrow saving wind for the turbines in recycled carrier bags.

The sun has gone from the box I had it in.

Tired now....................

Hanging off a bridge today, sprayed orange paint yesterday, my solicitor is appealing the DWP again today who say I am not trying to get a job.

She is spinning spray painting and working at heights as legitimate training courses for work.

Sticking and glueing was accepted as nursery school training courses.

Screaming at people in London is legitimate street theatre studies.

Yes the idiots are certainly out in force today.

I read a quote from one protester, supposedly a "Bridge designer", who claimed they could not get their message across in their normal work, so were instead climbing the QE bridge until the government agreed to stop new oil projects.

I just wish someone in the spotlight would explain to these protestors that the reason none of their demands are listened to, is that they do not make sense. New oil projects are not damaging the environment on their own, and it is the use of oil (and other fossil fuels) in certain ways, and in large quantities, which causes the CO2 to climb above acceptable levels. But there is nothing wrong with new oil projects, and they will be good for our economy and our financial independence from the rest of the world (cough - Russia - cough ahem).

If they made more sensible demands, such as "make plans to replace all Fossil fuel power stations world wide with Nuclear over the next 5 years" we may listen. But the shock might come to them when they realise they are going to have to travel to India, China and the USA to deliver their message.

^ These "protestors" are just anarchists using a group to inflict maximum nuisance to the public. I can't wait for meaningful sentences to be passed down to these idiots that will make them stop and really think, do I want 2 years in prison plus an unlimited fine? We are as soft as proverbial sh1t.
I'm afraid I'm old school and can't dealing with these fools. Why are the police ungluing activists hands from the road. A good hard pull and they'll come unstuck. Palm skin left behind? Tough! The police in Russia/Middle East wouldn't mess around. We should follow suit.

damaging the van gogh...the aston martin showroom....they should get proper sentences and the showroom and gallery should wack huge damages claims on them...but apparently the 2 women who threw soup over the painting and a third who damaged the scotland yard sign were in court, pleaded innocent (how the **** can they claim they are innocent when its plain on camera and they did it and told everyone about it)...and what's worse is they are out on bail...

With Courts that found the people who tipped the Edward Colston statue into the Bristol Harbour innocent of criminal damage, I wouldn't be confident of anything.

Protestors have a reasonable expectation of getting off.

We are giving way to anarchists on a tsunami of wokeism.

Legitimate debate is strangled by the cancel culture.

We have gone way past fairness and respect for people and property and entered into a spiral of decline where passive bullies now seek to impose their will on others.

If we don't acquiesce immediately then the intimidation starts.

The state has given up any pretence of enforcing reasonable laws and respect for others.

So now passers by remove protestors who are stopping their lawful passage and people try to protect their property because they have no one to turn to.

Shops deal with thieves the best they can and your house is a soft target for robbers, our borders our in name only.

Your car is at best an incident number as it speeds off into the ether.

But waiting for the beleaguered man in the street who moves someone on or offends someone online is the full force of a legal system that is for the few.

We have lost the plot.

Used to have a C63...
He's almost as comedic as that basement-dwelling plank that decorated the Aston Martin showroom!

Irrespective of how valid their causes may or may not be, how on earth do they expect anybody to take them even remotely seriously?

Attention-craving pr1cks.

When we in London in the summer we saw a whole stand of protestors on the pavement near downing street. I am not against protestors as a rule, but I found their setup a complete eyesore in a beautiful part of London, and I can't see why they need to plonk themselves there. I am pretty sure 99% of the public think they are mad nuisances.

I think they should be told to sling their hook; they can always protest online?
