SL 500 Tot Rod

Hi,

I have a rear SL500 Tot Rod which was sold at Harrods in early 90s possibly for around 20k. Trying to establish a value of it now. Im thinking of selling it on ebay but what do you guys think?

Probably not a lot in all honesty, quick look on eBay and they seem to be selling for just a few hundred each (not sure if it’s the same company though)

No..this is a unique one...i already have offers over £2500. What you see on ebay is just Chinese made. This is proper license car from Merc.

We bought a Mercedes SL pedal car back in 1985 from MB Main dealer, far cry from the one Kindkevin is selling for my youngest. It was used and abused and met the inevitable end in the hands of my growing children and the young neighbours in 1989
Though it lastest nearly 4 years, my guess was the kids decided they wanted a bigger one too smas.........ride in!

Actually there are official ones of other makes on eBay licensed and selling for just a few hundred pounds (mainly VW campers from the looks of it), Mercedes have had a few and seem to sell for a couple of thousand, so an offer of over £2500 is probably about right.
You’ll not be getting the £20k back from it that’s for sure.

We bought one of the battery SL500, R 129 ones for our granddaughter.
