I am attempting to reduce the whoosh of wind noise from my passenger window at speeds above 50+. (SL320 2000 - 54k) The noise is damped by 4 layers of gaffer tape stuck across the top leading edge of the glass. Not cool! So I figure I have to adjust the glass up by approx 2 - 3 mm. The glass does raise and fall the 12-15mm upon opening and closing the door, but just not up enough!

What's the process... loosen 3 nuts at the pink arrows, and lever the glass up and re-tighten, or is there something else I should know? Is there some adjustment on 1 and 2 or near my marked red blobs?
Thanks for your help...

Adjusting the door to close properly

Thanks Malcolm for the extensive notes. I see that I must also adjust the door before the window. Have you any notes per chance on this eg 72-050 ? Thanks
Richard

Malcolm,
I would also find the information on the adjustment of windows/doors on a SL320 (R129) useful. Would you willing to forward this information to me as well? I have forwarded my email address to you directly.
Many Thanks.
David

That is the joke, you cant get hold of them so it rather makes it pointless other that where the adjustment points are, but my papers show those
