Hi can anyone help with advise
the steering keeps sticking ..this is an intermittent problem like every few minuets on an average run . it seems to be getting worse .I am aware its electric steering . Its really dangerous as every now and then it will stick on a roundabout ...and one has to grab the wheel hard with both hands . Please can someone advise . Is it a common fault with this model ?? has anyone heard of this before . should I just take it to Mercedes Benz and pay loads !!!
I would be extremely grateful for any advise

This is not normal at all and it does sound very dangerous,, use a good indie at under ½ the price of MB to determine if balls joints or steering box fault

Don't you mean it is loosing assistance in one or both directions ?
The racks might be available from BBA reman, maybe others its a fault thats growing with the use of the electrically assisted racks

As an after thought maybe somebody has more information on B Class steering rack faults I am sure they had a problem with them noisy etc.
MB replaced some.
