^ The saddest thing is that the owner will tell anyone prepared to listen that he does actually own an AMG. Probably leave out the fact its a C180o_O
Ha! A nephew of mine owns a C180 kompressor and he seemed to have an idea in his head that just because he has a kompressor car he can outperform my 5L V8!! Oh the misguided young man! Ha!:)

I guess it depends what 5L V8 you have. My 3L supercharged V6 Audi will out perform my 5L V8 SL :)

Well a 1.6 kompressor will certaintly not come close to the performance of a 5.0 V8 anyday thats a fact and my V8 is normally aspirated and has been uprated in performance in several areas which gives stunning acceleration when needed , let me put it this way, a mate of mine has a CLS 6.3 supercharged and he was stunned how quick mine was , here endith the lesson , ha! :)

Thats interesting, do you know what supercharger your mate installed and what was the reason for the slight increase in engine displacement? Did anything else need upgrading, brakes for instance? I bet there must be quite an impressive power increase.

Hi, he bought the car with it already on then he has had stage 1 and 2 mapped into ecu i think its about 700bhp which is quite daft really as whats the point on todays roads unless you take it round the track? As for brakes he did have a lot of work on the brakes so id imagine he would have had them upgraded for safety sake

The SL's are weighty cars for sure.
My V8 4.7l twin turbo is bulk standard in the SL, from a rolling start have held off a McLaren 570 (could match but not beat me 60 - 100), and from 80 - 110 out accelerated an M3 (that was tough as we were alongside up to 80).....

Not tried an Audi v6 yet ;-).

Ha! Im still waiting to see one with a single pipe with Brabus AMG on it? That would be good for a laugh! Hehe!:)

I saw a single pipe C Class yesterday on my way to Scotland, gun metal grey colour with Brabus badge on the n/s of the boot lid. It was a similar rare end to Blobcat's last post
I didn't even think of taking a picture until it was too late :(
No other badges displayed, so it must have been a 'real' one
