There is a specialist breaker who gets mentioned quite a lot on the forum. Someone will recall the name, I'm sure.

If it's electronic and can be removed easily send this to BBA reman in Brum. They repair 'anything' at normal prices. Eg my ABS module on my Audi failed (PCB fault) so they scan and test for faulty components (diodes/resistors etc etc) and replace/test/return.
A >£2000 job cost me <£700.

This guy is as honest as they come. Couldn't fix mine and so he gave a full refund and sent it back to me. So I'm looking for an urgent replacement too. My roof is stuck open and I don't have a garage.

It’s there a manual winding method to close the roof ?

There is, but it involves taking a lot of the structures apart and specific struts to support the detached roof. It then requires plugging in to a computer, which we don't have. It looks like you can easily destroy your car if you make a mistake.
