Hi Guys,

Extremely low on diesel i get to the petrol station and my fuel cap is not opening??

What can i do? i don't think the clk has a emergency release lever.

Any ideas?

Pull the right hand side trim back on the interior of the boot, you will see a small wind t bar on the lock. Turn it anti clockwise. Or it will have a red pull cable.

This is electric on a 209, first try locking and unlocking the car a few times.

If there is an emergency release perhaps someone else knows where it is.

Nothing there, everything is blocked off by metal things!

I can send you the instructions to remove the motor

In the rear fuse box there is a fuse for the relay F15 rated 7.5 amp

Relay G in the rear box is for this fuel flap

So could it be the fuse?

No, first get the codes read. If its electrical or a physical jamming it should leave error codes.

Surprised there's no manual override release for the flap though!

luckily Mercedes roadside assistance came and replaced the part for me £18.95. it was the locking motor!
