- E220 Estate W213
Hi all,
I have a E220 estate (2017) and its been pretty good so far. It has the AMG suspension and 19" wheels which makes the rim quite firm. I see two possible options (i) drop to 18" wheels - it seems Romac do a wheel called the Venom which looks very similar to the standard MB 19" items, or (ii) switch to non-run flats.
Has anyone gone to non run-flats but stayed on the larger wheel size? If so what is the plan if you get a puncture? Just call the recovery service? Does it make much difference to ride comfort?
For anyone that has dropped to 18"s, did you use run-flat 18"s with them, or also drop to non-run-flats?
I saw a W213 Estate on what I believe to be 18" Romac alloys outside a Costa coffee on Saturday morning. At first I thought they were MB 18"s until I saw the centre caps. Really like the idea of having something that looks so similar to the originals.
Thanks!
