Car booked in for a B1 service for next Tuesday. Shame it's an expensive one + brake fluid change as I have only done around 1,500 miles since the last service

I am sure you are absolutely right there. I have to wash mine down 3 sometimes four times a week. To-day is the first day I havn't had to wash it this week, but to-day is not over yet

Just spent a pleasant half hour giving the exhaust back pressure sensor and the egr a quick freshen up with some carb cleaner . I do it every year so the egr always comes out easily .
