The only thing i need to get done on the beast is replacing one of the pipes from the AC drier which goes into the bulkhead as its siezed solid on the drier itself.
I have a new drier unit so need to order new pipe from MB, be about £135? Then get my garage to do the work, off to Poland this year in the beast so needing AC all working tip top and no doubt old drier has not been replaced for years....or never? Just have to wait and see how the borders in Holland and Germany will be and would we be allowed to travel across them come late May? Hmmmm

Pulled the C140 600 out of the workshop in preparation for welding on Tuesday.

MAF sensors are giving wrong values, lets hope for a faulty MAF , but I am really thinking it is going to be a bad MAF loom so that will be fun to try and fix.

Feeling a bit despondent about it, hopefully it will pass!

In any case, Matt can do the heavy lifting for the wiring, he won't thank me for that.

Sold - 2021 CLA 35 Premium.
Took my car for its very first longer run today.
I done this run with my previous CLA 250 at the same average speed and got 10mpg more, but considering this car has more power and AWD capability I am more than happy with the difference. :)

New H7 Turbo Nutter B'stard hello John bulbs in the S211 main beams. Slight improvement, if I had to write home about them underwhelming would be used in anger. H11 fog light bulbs to go in at some stage so I can join the fog light w****r club.
Service brake warning light came on today. Harrumph.

Booked the 230 in to RMK for 2 new keys. MrsLK lost hers and washed mine (but it was apparently my fault,).

Good to see Mrs LK took my safety advice from last Thursday…

Of course it was your fault, you should remove all objects from pockets before they are washed LK!!! I guess you didn't put the key through the dryer then.......

Sounds a good plan, will be a must on my next MB
Yes it's a third party upgrade to the original Comand4.5. Not cheap but keeps everything near original and is actually better as it supports DAB+ which genuine doesn't.
