Used to have a C63...
I always try and do it when I have a lovely sunny day like today , make it a pleasure to do .

Tomorrow or Tuesday looks promising weather wise, and car needs a good wash too. Away Thurs-Fri/Sat, then in Gloucester for two weeks - don't want to melt the all seasons if we today's temps continue!

Steralised it inside and out, back to being shiny again.

Also fitted a bike rack which went well, boys were very happy and got the little one off stabilisers finally

Finally warm enough to paint the new stubby mobile aerial (somewhat redundant as I use a Bluetooth connection but it finishes the car off).
Next weekend look at putting it back on.
Hopefully this time it won't get ripped out as someone walks past.

Going to visit an old friend tomorrow so I've cleaned the windows inside and out, blacked the tyres and polished the wheels. Couldn't find any dirt on the car to warrant a wash. Looking forward to a run down the A3 to Winchester. So much more fun than going to work on a Monday.

Nice little top down drive, surprised how little difference having the top folded away and winter wheels is making to the mpg :)

The smug smile goes with the three pointed star. Every time I catch sight of the car, the corners of my mouth head towards my ears. It can't be helped.

Started writing an advert out for it today as it may be time to move it on. :(

This is the 190E, not the E Class (yet). Basically I'm running out of space, time and patience so it's going to have to go. Not something I particularly want to do but I'm now limited in arm movement so can't really do the jobs I want to on it anymore, mainly just cleaning it up on the underside.

It may take some time to write this advert, especially as the weather is just starting to brighten up a bit...

Am I being a mug?

Yesterday had car cleaned looking immaculate on the drive, sun is out I am looking for any excuse for a top down drive.

Daughter comes over roof down music blearing in her SLK.

After 30 mins she says to my wife "Mum can you run me to the shops I need to buy a present for a friend". "I know I can drive and have my car but yours is sooo much cooler".

After 10 mins of watching wife and daughter trying to sink her iPhone to the car for her music I go out and finish the job for them and then watch them drive off in my newly washed SL with the roof down:-(

Think I know the answer to the question, rhetoric really!

R230 SL500 - oh yeah!
Haven't done anything as such, but have ordered some trim removal tools so I can try and get the ashtray to open/close properly. Hoping they turn up this week so I can do it while I'm off.

Uncovered the summer wheels, got a pre-fitting coat of Chemical Guys Wheel Guard on (they had a coating before being put away for winter), so ready to fit either today or tomorrow!

Have you got tyres for them, as the packaging looks a bit thin to drive on :D:cool:
